Nominated twice for Best Contribution of the Year
I’m really honoured that two of my code contributions to CheckMates are nominated for Best Contribution of the Year 2020.
The first nominated code was published in March. With this script you can bulk rename objects using a CSV file and the Management API. Very useful. It saved me a lot of time when I ran into a situation to have to rename tens of thousands of objects.
The second nominated code was published in April and is a one-liner that converts an existing CSV file to a format that is accepted by the Management API. Though it was meant for a specific usecase there are instructions included to tweak it for your own needs.
And I am also proud that my s7pac script inspired Danny Jung to wrap it into a SmartConsole Extension. Danny is nominated for his SmartConsole Extension too. This is the strength of the CheckMates community. When you create something and you share it on CheckMates another member may convert it into another valuable tool and share it again. That’s what I really love about this community. Together we build powerful tools.
